Para o melhor, mas também para o pior, Port Glaud é um dos locais mais remotos da ilha de Mahé. Há que fazer um trajecto de mais de 30 minutos por uma estrada sinuosa que sobe e desce a montanha a partir de Victória. O acesso ao mar é fácil, mas não há um grande número de praias banháveis em redor, ou que sejam de fácil acesso. As que há têm o acesso condicionado pelos resorts maiores, ou estão, em grande parte, ocupadas pelas espreguiçadeiras destes. A excepção é a praia de Port Launay, maravilhosa e suficientemente ampla e acessível para comportar a presença de todos os outros que não apenas os hóspedes do resort. É reduzida a oferta de restaurantes (o Delplace é excelente) e os dos resorts não estão, por regra, abertos ao público. Da casa, os únicos pontos negativos a registar será a falta de alguns utensilios de cozinha (não essenciais, mas que seria agradável ter, como um espremedor de citrinos, por exemplo, ou uma tesoura que cortasse) e a iluminação, de luzes muito brancas (todas elas, até no quarto), mal posicionadas e mesmo "agressivas" (como no caso da cozinha). Trata-se, no entanto, e pelo que pudemos constatar, de uma constante na ilha. O acesso à internet também é pouco fiável, mas não por qualquer deficiência na infraestrutura da casa.

You can watch the sunset over the river and enjoy the laid-back vibe. The staff, especially Tom, were amazing! 🤩 I was feeling pretty sick, but Tom went above and beyond, providing me with electrolytes and making sure I was comfortable. His kindness and care made a huge difference. Overall, I'd give Ban Lakkham River View Hotel 5/5 stars for location and staff. Would definitely recommend and stay again! 🏨💕"

"Location was perfect, in between two resorts for lovely Spa treatments and excellent dining. Hanna was very helpful with our requests, even dropping off a cake tin so I could make a birthday cake. The complimentary treats were a lovely surprise. We will definitely return. Fa'afetai."

"L’accueil de notre hôte, son professionnalisme et sa disponibilité pour répondre à nos demandes pendant notre séjour . La conception architecturale de la maison qui en fait un lieu d’exception dans tous ses aménagements et principalement la piscine à débordement de grande taille avec une vue sur l’océan indien . Le calme et la sérénité du lieu : la musique de l’océan , le chant des oiseaux et du vent … un coucher de soleil tous les soirs sur l’océan : de la piscine , du salon , de la cuisine et de notre chambre , du jardin …. Une vue panoramique à 180 degrés !!! L’emplacement géographique dans le quartier de l’hermitage : accès direct au lagon et proximité à pied de Saint-Gilles ."

"Villa Fleur de Lys is a great sized villa, right on the beach, with a swimming pool and has excellent amenities. The rooms are large, with comfortable beds and en suite bathrooms. There is a kid's games room and an entertainment centre with a gym, foosball table, ping pong table and pool table. The included breakfast is big enough and the restaurant provided large portion sizes. The beach is okay for swimming, but aqua shoes are recommended as there are rocks."

"Căn hộ rất rộng, khu sinh hoạt chung rất phù hợp để tụ tập tự nấu ăn, ăn uống với nhau. Cảnh quan xung quanh rất đẹp, có xe chở đi, và được sử dụng nhiều dịch vụ khác trong khu. Có vài trang thiết bị hơi cũ, đã xuống cấp nhưng cũng đã được xử lý và vệ sinh tốt."

Không hỗ trợ đặt giường phụ (có nhưng tính phí), cảm thấy không hợp lý lắm vì không gian chung rất rộng mà kh thể ở thêm người.

Food can be a little better. Veg Sandwich had little veggies and too much mayonnaise.

"The host was friendly and accommodative. She kept checking on us if we needed anything. She was grieving personal loss at the time of our stay but she found ways to tend to our needs and comfort. We will come back to her property for sure."

"We were group of friends with families, so we were very excited about place, surrounding, distance to the sea - everything was great! Kids had a lot of acticities, even to collect shells or pine cones. Every room had separate bathrooms, kitchen equipment, tools for barbeque (we need to brought only charcol for cooking)."

It small thing, that do not efect my valuation - sofa was a bit to hard for adults, would be great to have additional mattress :)

"Great value & service. The house is in the second line of buildings. The property was perfectly clean, plenty of towels, a lot of space. Perfect place for a group of friends, close to restaurants and city center. There is a guest house with a nice sauna."
