Det har ikke så meget med overnatningsstedet at gøre, men hvis man tager til øen i efteråret (jeg var der i oktober) er der ingen steder at gå ud, da alt er lukket. Det skal man huske da det bliver tidligt mørket og solen står sent op.

"Big spacious villa with a great view. It had a well equiped kitchen, great pool which is cleaned once a week. The owner is very kind and informative."

"Breakfast and dinner was superb, a mix between Sri Lankan and western dishes. The team was very attentive for all our needs and the kids loved the pool. Great place to stay for a night or two."

One room had quite an odour (mold probably) from the bathroom, but this is the norm in Sri Lanka usually. Not a big deal. Just close the door to the bathroom.

The view from the terrace is amazing, the infinity pool is a nice place to drink some beers or just float. I also enjoyed the running in the area in the direction of the dump site (I know, but the rising sun is just amazing). Valerie and Sarah were really nice and welcoming hosts."

Having to leave it.

"Incroyable séjour les propriétaires sont très accueillants et disponible...la vue est juste a couper le souffle sur photos c'est beau mais en vrai incroyable merci encore a eux pour leur gentillesse !"

Comfort of beds

"My family and I spent one night at Himma's Luxury guest house. The property was supper clean, staff was very polite and answer to any concerns or questions we had.I highly recommend this place. This place will be my go to whenever I'm here in Freetown, Sierra Leone."

I don't like the fact that there's is no TV in any of the rooms we rented.

"Everything was just beautiful. We had hot weather but it was cool inside and the pool was great. Thé location was close to Normanville for morning swims. We loved the surrounding gardens and eating outside under the grapevines. Everything was good quality and well thought out. It was friendly and relaxing. We loved the personal art and objects collection around the house and the way it was so carefully restored. It was a privilege to be able to stay there with our friends from Sweden who also loved the experience."
