"It's a basic place, but nice. The bathroom is clean and functional (and great hot water). The bedroom is perfectly fine for a night or two, but would struggle with lots of packing and unpacking if you were staying a while. Owner is super super friendly and nice."

"Devido a obras no espaço do hostel foi nos proposto ficar num pequeno apartamento muito perto do alojamento. Ficamos muito satisfeitos, pequeno apartamento com tudo o que era necessário, muito limpo e com uma vista sobre um porto. O Kristkan foi super simpático e prestável."

"The owner was very nice and the room was clean (we stayed in the hotel room with the barhroom). The kitchen was well equipped. It’s close to the boat taxi port, from where you can easily get tongue center."

The walls were thin and it was far from the center.

"A short stroll from the main drag and market, but without the noise.A fully equipped kitchen, a shady garden, plenty of toilets and showers hot aswell, in the dormitory section,all kept clean throughout day, for breakfast i recommend you go to Kumba Lodge, turn left and walk along the beach for 15 minutes, youll see it up on the ridge, dont forget to take sandals as the sand maybe too hot to walk on coming back.Nice secluded back garden.You can walk to Barra, by turning left, walk atound the headland, places yo eat and drink there, anout 8kms one way, take plenty of water."

(Da la sensación de estar aislado porque no tiene construcciones alrededor, pero una vez subida una pequeña cuesta queda muy cerca de los puntos turísticos y paradas de autobuses) -Desayuno ok (De 6:30h a 9:00h. Recomiendo no ir muy cerca de las 9h porque hay mucha gente y faltante de algunos productos) -Recepción 24 hs -Tienen lockers para dejar las maletas después del check out hasta la hora del vuelo. (Llevar candado!) -Baño y ducha adentro del cuarto de 4 camas. (No incluye jabón para lavar las manos ni papel para secarlas) -Espacios limpios"

El desayuno tiene un horario que es avisado en la recepción al momento de hacer check in: de 6:30h a 9:00h). Lo llamativo fue que no sólo retiran la comida a las 9:00h, si no que echan a todas las personas del comedor con malos modos.

"Absolutely loved my stay here! The ambiance is so serene! It's nice and quiet at night so you'll sleep peacefully. Location is great as it's located in the community area and not in the national park yet it's close to everything you will want to visit during your stay. I also love that they're so organised with tours they provided good information and hade competitive rates if not the best rates in the area. The service was on point from the moment I arrived until checkout. The food so delicious! I stayed in a cottage with a balcony, the view was super, I highly recommend those rooms. Thank you so much for having! I'll definitely be back"

"O senhor que atende na recepção é muito atencioso e gentil. O ingles dele é aceitável, e se esforça para comunicar e ajudar os clientes. A localização do Hostel é boa. Eu quando fiz a reserva achei que ficaria com o quarto de 4 camas só para mim e a pessoa que me acompanhava. Mas o senhor que atende na recepção teve a bondade de colocar num quarto a sós, e foi assim a estadia toda."

Eu quando fiz a reserva achei que ficaria com o quarto de 4 camas só para mim e a pessoa que me acompanhava, mas fui surpresa por saber que teria que pagar mais porque estava acompanhada, sendo que quando fiz a reserva inseri a opção de 2 adultos. Não sei se é erro do site ou o dono do hostel deveria alterar e melhorar nesse aspecto. A limpeza do quarto poderia ser melhor. Não encontrei papel higiênico, mas também não pedi, fui comprar.

A entrada é um pouco estranha. A cozinha podia estar um pouco mais limpa.

"The location is a bit remote from the city of Lugano, but the views are wonderful and it's surrounded by nature. The house itself is very cozy, welcoming and well maintained."

Wifi was very poor both in the living room and the private bedroom. I struggled connecting for work. I can't say that this was good value for money considering how far it was from Lugano city centre and all other activity spots. I didn't have breakfast, because it was another 20 francs on top of everything else and that wasn't really ideal for someone travelling on a budget.

Inside the cabins gets really hot during the day. Not a single spoon in the hole place to eat my soup. To enter the compound there's a very awkward padlock where you have to drop everything on the floor to open the door. Not good if the floor is wet or in the darkness of night

"Very professional staff. Authentic experience and accommodation. Artistic spacious common areas. The Best accommodation provided breakfast we had on our month-long trip in East Africa. All staff members are genuinely friendly."

Os armários são fora do quarto, então as pessoas deixam as mochilas no quarto e fica meio sem espaço

You need to be careful at the lower bunk - not much space between the bunks, everyone hits their head at least once.
