"Such a great experience! Came a bit worried by the reviews, but since Mama Fifì is back the house is very clean and well managed. Rooms are simple, but it was such a pleasure to share a house with a real local landlady and spend some times in a real Huahine household, with whom we shared dinners and good moments. We were just three guests in off season, experience may be different when the dorm is full. A bit isolated, renting moped advised, but they deliver there too, and walking distance to water access and incredible beach hikes."

"Piscina ótima, bem como todo o espaço exterior. 2 cozinhas exteriores onde podemos fazer as nossas refeições. Casa confortável e quarto com boas dimensões."

Sem casa de banho privada, mas tem várias partilhadas. Poderiam limpar um pouco melhor as áreas comuns, frigoríficos, wc's.

Passei um tempo aqui antes de voltar para o Brasil, e posso dizer que a equipe é super atenciosa e gentil - ali trabalham brasileiros - e faz um ótimo trabalho, em especial o Chico, o Manuel e o Tom, mas todos foram bons. O café da manhã é bom, tem escolha suficiente (inclusive maçã) e bastante espaço para sentar no porão. A cozinha é bem equipada, um forno combi de forno e microondas, chaleira elétrica, muitos pratos e panelas. Quartos bem decorados e acesso 24h"

"Great place to stay in Noukchott. The place itself is beautiful, and in a nice neighbourhood within walking distance to anything you'd want to see. The bungalows are cosy and comfortable. Great hot showers and good buffet breakfast. Contrary to some other uncharitable reviews, I found the young guys working there to be helpful and pleasant. Sebastien the owner gives great travel advice. 10/10, would repeat!"

My husband even told me not to say anything about the booking, just to see how it was when we got there. But to our surprise, from the moment we arrived, everything was wonderful. At the doorstep, we were greeted by Madu at reception, who welcomed us with the warmest smile—as if we had known her for years! 😊 Our room was spotlessly clean, very spacious, with a large comfortable bed and a lovely balcony overlooking a beautiful view. "Amazing hostel, nice location and there are always a lot of travellers passing by. If you are planning to go to the seven lakes it’s very likely you’ll find other people so you can share a car to the lakes, stay overnight at the guesthouse. The hostel also lets you leave your things if you’re leaving and then come back."

"I had a small room with a toilet and shower (it's what they call "a bangalow") for myself. It was okay but don't expect the luxury."

"Da hospitalidade da Myriem e da Lina. Fizeram com que me sentisse em casa! Ao estar num ponto elevado mas perto da baía, tem uma vista incrivel para o mar. É possivel ver a qualidade das ondas de manhã, sem se sair do hostel. Recomendo!"

"MyFarm is not just a place to sleep. It is a vibrant place full of life. You wake up from the sound of beautiful birds in the morning, you can join the MyFarm team for breakfast and talk about their daily life here. All the staff is super nice and accommodating. It's amazing to be inside such a wonderful place that gives out free education to the people who live around here. I ended up helping out in the different educational programs and I loved every moment of it. I thought I just went for a cheap place to stay that was also social, but I got so much more. I will definitely come back as a volunteer to the project."

"A very nice and atmospheric resort. Beautiful surroundings. Lots of parking spaces. There is a gazebo on site where you can barbecue and spend a nice evening. Additionally, a small playground for children. The rooms are very clean. Two toilets and 3 shower cabins per floor."

"A localização é muito boa, perto do centro e das principais atrações da cidade. A cama e quarto são confortáveis, com cortinas e ponto de eletricidade. A cozinha possui bons utensílios para refeições e a zona de lazer está bem. O ambiente geral é agradável, com convívio assegurado entre os clientes."

A limpeza do espaço deixa muito a desejar. Na cozinha e casas de banho nota-se que há locais que não levam limpeza há meses. No dormitório onde fiquei, o hostel deixou entrar um indivíduo local claramente embriagado, que provocou ruído no quarto a noite toda, tendo sido a recepção chamada a atenção, sem nada ter feito.

The noise from the street is unbelievable. Too much irritating all the time.

"Sehr nette Besitzerin. Lage etwas versteckt im Kampung. Nah am Flughafen. An einem kleinen See mit Sitzgelegenheiten. Essensmöglichkeiten an der nahen Hauptstraße. Küche mit Kühlschrank und Waschmaschine. Super für Leute, die eine Übernachtung in Flughafennähe suchen."

"Just a regular hostel with rooms. The walls are thin so you can easily hear some noise from other guests. If you need the place just to stay somewhere and rest - it’s OK, but don’t expect anything special from it."

"Doba and his family were exceptionally welcoming, outgoing, and fun. We spent three nights at chez doba, and went on two hikes each day, to different waterfalls, viewpoints, and villages. In the evening we played football with the children and drank beer and tea with the locals. Special shoutout to Amadou, our guide for our stay - a great guy! Highly highly highly recommend Campement Chez Doba to anyone visiting Senegal, its been the highlight of our trip. We also booked onto an extra trip with Doba to tour a nearby bedik village, which was very picturesque! Doba Tours also offers other tours around Senegal, including Dakar and Niocolo Koba National Park, which we didnt use, but heard good things from other guests. The food was good and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable!"

- would have been great if there were a kettle for guests' use. Needed some hot water to soothe my stomach and had to ask the staff to boil a cup for me.
