"The host and hostess were very kind and helped us check in almost close to midnight. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were simple and clean."

Missed an on-site restaurant and had to drive almost six kms away for decent breakfast. The Wifi could be better. The approach road is accessible only by a off roader 4x4.

There is only one power socket in the sleeping room, and it does not work (well) as the holes are too loose to uphold any charging device. A multi-socket cable connected to a repaired socket would be appreciated. In the kitchenette, there is some coffee and tea provided, much appreciated. Oddly, there is no sugar but salt. Sugar would be more useful than salt.

No good option to walk to beach as main road is busy and no bike lane. Small windows don’t let one feel/see the nice area/surrounding.

That Booking.com is proposing a property which is not available before April 2026. By doing so, I could have ended up on the island of Bequia on a Sunday night with nowhere to sleep.

"The apartment welcomes us in a sparkling clean condition with all the home equipment that we need. It has a private car park with security, we felt safe around the neighbourhood. It is worth mentioning that the apartment is located in a very convenient neighbourhood. Will surely recommend!"

"Lovely area, close to a river walk and around 10 minutes walk to the centre of Buncrana. Lidl and Aldi are a 2-minute drive away. The apartment had everything we needed. Very cosy and clean. The host had kindly left us wheaten bread and some milk. A lovely lady ❤️"

"What a great surprise this find is, staying with a local community and eating the traditional food ,only 25mins walk to a private beach and 10min walk to the ash fields . Here the rumble of the mountain like its a distant thunder storm. The kids will show you around with great enthusiasm. And all being close to the volcano and hot springs and the hosts will arrange any other activities and transports needed , This is the real deal don't miss out . "Exceptionnel !! Franchement rien à dire du côté de l'appartement. Tout était propre, le linge de lit, les serviettes. Un grand bravo. On a pu profiter du balcon pour le petit déjeuner, vraiment super!! 👍"

Seul petit bémol, pas du tout de commerce à proximité. Et si en plus vous n'êtes pas véhiculé sachez qu'il n'y a pas de bus en bas de la résidence où même quelques pas plus loin. Pour le premier jour, le papa du propriétaire qui était véhiculé nous a emmener jusqu'à une supérette. Un grand merci pour ce Monsieur. Qu'Allah le récompense pour son aide si précieuse. Le deuxième jour, pour le pain et viennoiseries, j'ai pris mon courage à deux mains. Heureusement, je suis une bonne randonneuse ce qui.n'est pas le cas de ma fille qui est restée bien tranquillement à m'attendre. La veinarde !! Malgré ce petit inconvénient, j'ai passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement que je RECOMMANDE VIVEMENT pour les marcheurs.
