Villas no Zimbabué

"The villa really stands out as the best accommodation in or around Conakry!"

Just the garbage in the garden, but nothing to really complain about!

"The location was very good not to far from the centre. The apartment was spacious very cozy and comfortable.The architecture of the building was very nice.It had everything we needed,the kitchen was very rich in utensils.Great experience overall."

"The villa had everything! Stocked wine cooler, bottles of spirits, full mini bar. There was a gas BBQ and good free Wi-Fi. The beach and pool were both no more than a few hundred meters from the villa in all directions. It was beautiful!"

Perhaps the resort supermarket produce could have been fresher, with a better selection of meat for the BBQ, but there's nothing to stop you using a local supermarket.

This was a good bed and breakfast stay for us, only thing I didn’t like was the price but that’s nothing to do with the property it’s just a netherlands standard thing which is around 200 per night

Niets viel tegen, alles was er, en anders werd het direct geregeld.

"The room was large and spacious. Very comfortable beds and a well appointed bathroom. A seating area was a welcome extra. Breakfast was excellent -with a glass of Istenic sparkling! The garden attached to the winery is a really peaceful setting for a morning’s (or more) relaxation over coffee and more sparkling wine. All the staff we met were friendly and welcoming. Thank you to them."

Only downside is the location that means restaurants are a short drive away - even the closest (about 1km) is a drive because of the fast narrow road without pavement. The main town of Brezice is worth visiting though for its restaurants, cafes, castle and water tower.

"The guest house AIDA is a huge villa. It has 4 different bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 3 different common living rooms. It can accommodate up to 10 people with lots of available indoor space for everyone. There is one shared pool with 2 other guest houses and lots of outdoors common spaces that you use. One of the common spaces has a very nice seating around a fire pit, the host provided us with firewood and help to light the fire. The host was very friendly and very responsive to all our questions."

The beds can be more comfortable, but they were ok for 1 night. There are no ACs in the rooms, but the weather in that area is already chilled, and they provided 4 different electric fans for all the rooms.

Really can't say anything bad.

Para o melhor, mas também para o pior, Port Glaud é um dos locais mais remotos da ilha de Mahé. Há que fazer um trajecto de mais de 30 minutos por uma estrada sinuosa que sobe e desce a montanha a partir de Victória. O acesso ao mar é fácil, mas não há um grande número de praias banháveis em redor, ou que sejam de fácil acesso. As que há têm o acesso condicionado pelos resorts maiores, ou estão, em grande parte, ocupadas pelas espreguiçadeiras destes. A excepção é a praia de Port Launay, maravilhosa e suficientemente ampla e acessível para comportar a presença de todos os outros que não apenas os hóspedes do resort. É reduzida a oferta de restaurantes (o Delplace é excelente) e os dos resorts não estão, por regra, abertos ao público. Da casa, os únicos pontos negativos a registar será a falta de alguns utensilios de cozinha (não essenciais, mas que seria agradável ter, como um espremedor de citrinos, por exemplo, ou uma tesoura que cortasse) e a iluminação, de luzes muito brancas (todas elas, até no quarto), mal posicionadas e mesmo "agressivas" (como no caso da cozinha). Trata-se, no entanto, e pelo que pudemos constatar, de uma constante na ilha. O acesso à internet também é pouco fiável, mas não por qualquer deficiência na infraestrutura da casa.

"The villa is huge! We loved the location because it was very serene and tranquil. No pretentious resort and loud music! We managed perfectly without the car. We walked a lot and met few local people in the village. People around are very friendly and chilled. The views are beautiful, beds comfortable, pool is a nice size. It was far too big for the two of us but we enjoyed the space thoroughly. We even walked to the Mount gay distillery… fairly long walk but again nice to see the area around. Two old men in the car stopped and asked if we wanted a lift, we thought that was very sweet. We walked few times to Speightstown for food and shopping. I wouldn’t bother with the restaurant Local and Co… very small portions and nothing special. Feels pretentious."

The private chef for us felt a bit too much. It’s nice to be cooked for but the idea of a villa to me is that we are alone and not that we have chef and cleaning lady there during the day. Plus the chef talks too much :) Some days we just cancelled the chef and made our own eggs for breakfast and went to eat in the local restaurant the fish pot which was pricey but very good and walkable. The best mahi mahi fish tacos I have ever had! I think the private chef is probably more viable when you have a larger party.

"Perfect location with great views of the mountains and river in the beautiful town of Arco. The apartment was nicely decorated in italian style and included a great hot tub bath and a 4k television. The kitchen was reasonably well appointed with an induction hob and a combi oven, and a fridge freezer. There was free parking available in an underground garage, but we were on foot - the pedestrian entrance came out right onto the pretty alleyways in the Arco old town."

The check in details could have been clearer. The keys had to be collected from "Arcoplant", which is a small garden centre a long way from the apartment. We got there on a Sunday, so the garden centre was closed and it was difficult to get in touch with the owner, but they were really friendly and helpful once we found them.

"It was calm and on the beachfront. Checkin was smooth. Has multiple things to keep kids engaged, Some facilities paid and others free. Location also has small grocery store."

There was problem with Internet connection.

"We really loved staying here. It felt very secluded, away from the world. Going in the kayak, just navigating ourselves through the channels was wonderful. The bungalow itself is well equipped and we loved the sound of the water during the night as well as the torches on the patio. The hosts went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. We really regretted that we could only stay for one night. I would highly recommend this place. It truly was a magical experience!"

La instalación requiere de algunos pequeños arreglos y un poco más de limpieza.

"Gostei da estadia, a disposição da casa, faltou alguns utensílios de cozinha mas foram cedidos logo que pedidos, a limpeza é feita pelo pessoal mas precisa de um pouco mais de atenção, a chaleira eléctrica por exemplo estava muito suja, a porta de correr nao abria porque o corredor tinha sujidade, pequenos detalhes que podem ser reparados sem muito esforço, no geral estivemos muito bem, o pessoal muito atencioso e amável. Recomendo"

Uma pequena parte da limpesa mas como disse antes nada que nao possa ser reparado e ultrapassado. Tirando isso amei tudo
