"We were group of friends with families, so we were very excited about place, surrounding, distance to the sea - everything was great! Kids had a lot of acticities, even to collect shells or pine cones. Every room had separate bathrooms, kitchen equipment, tools for barbeque (we need to brought only charcol for cooking)."

It small thing, that do not efect my valuation - sofa was a bit to hard for adults, would be great to have additional mattress :)

Just like everywhere in Faroese Islands its a bit pricy, but still reasonable compared to other options.

"Good location near city centre (10 min walk). A nice little garden. Wifi and aircon. A very nice and helpful host."

Hard to find. In need of renovation but it seems like it's underway.

"Das großzügige Platzangebot. Gemütliche Einrichtung. Hochstühle für Kleinkinder sowie Babybett sind vorhanden. Im Treppenhaus steht auch ein Schrank mit Büchern und Spielen. Ebenso sind Staubsauger vorhanden. Für eine alte Villa war die Wohnung gut in Schuss."

Zwei Punkte möchte ich anmerken. In der Loggia links neben der Tür, war eine Fenstervertäfelung locker. Die müsste wieder festgeklebt werden. Und der Buffetschrank im Wohnzimmer ist nicht mit der Wand verbunden. Da das Angebot auch an Familien mit Kleinkindern gerichtet ist, sollte hier nachgebessert werden.

Pool not heated, so a bit bracing when we took a dip. It was mid-November though.

"Beautiful cabin with beautiful view, in a perfect location to explore Durmitor. It had everything we needed as a family of four. We appreciated the bottle of wine that was left for us. We would definitely come back!"

"Läget är fantastiskt och kontakten med ägaren fungerade väldigt bra. Villan fungerar utmärkt för 4 personer med egna badrum och stort kök och vardagsrum. Läget på stranden inbjuder till många härliga bad och strandpromenader."

Huset är lite slitet och skulle må bra av lite renovering och förnyelse. Men allt fungerar och det är välutrustat och städat.

"Impressive view - 1st row to the ocean. Very high quality equipment in the whole apartment. Staff is very friendly and helpful- couldn’t be better."

"Great value & service. The house is in the second line of buildings. The property was perfectly clean, plenty of towels, a lot of space. Perfect place for a group of friends, close to restaurants and city center. There is a guest house with a nice sauna."

"The villa had everything! Stocked wine cooler, bottles of spirits, full mini bar. There was a gas BBQ and good free Wi-Fi. The beach and pool were both no more than a few hundred meters from the villa in all directions. It was beautiful!"

Perhaps the resort supermarket produce could have been fresher, with a better selection of meat for the BBQ, but there's nothing to stop you using a local supermarket.

Para o melhor, mas também para o pior, Port Glaud é um dos locais mais remotos da ilha de Mahé. Há que fazer um trajecto de mais de 30 minutos por uma estrada sinuosa que sobe e desce a montanha a partir de Victória. O acesso ao mar é fácil, mas não há um grande número de praias banháveis em redor, ou que sejam de fácil acesso. As que há têm o acesso condicionado pelos resorts maiores, ou estão, em grande parte, ocupadas pelas espreguiçadeiras destes. A excepção é a praia de Port Launay, maravilhosa e suficientemente ampla e acessível para comportar a presença de todos os outros que não apenas os hóspedes do resort. É reduzida a oferta de restaurantes (o Delplace é excelente) e os dos resorts não estão, por regra, abertos ao público. Da casa, os únicos pontos negativos a registar será a falta de alguns utensilios de cozinha (não essenciais, mas que seria agradável ter, como um espremedor de citrinos, por exemplo, ou uma tesoura que cortasse) e a iluminação, de luzes muito brancas (todas elas, até no quarto), mal posicionadas e mesmo "agressivas" (como no caso da cozinha). Trata-se, no entanto, e pelo que pudemos constatar, de uma constante na ilha. O acesso à internet também é pouco fiável, mas não por qualquer deficiência na infraestrutura da casa.

Niets viel tegen, alles was er, en anders werd het direct geregeld.

"The guest house AIDA is a huge villa. It has 4 different bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, and 3 different common living rooms. It can accommodate up to 10 people with lots of available indoor space for everyone. There is one shared pool with 2 other guest houses and lots of outdoors common spaces that you use. One of the common spaces has a very nice seating around a fire pit, the host provided us with firewood and help to light the fire. The host was very friendly and very responsive to all our questions."

The beds can be more comfortable, but they were ok for 1 night. There are no ACs in the rooms, but the weather in that area is already chilled, and they provided 4 different electric fans for all the rooms.

"Perfect location with great views of the mountains and river in the beautiful town of Arco. The apartment was nicely decorated in italian style and included a great hot tub bath and a 4k television. The kitchen was reasonably well appointed with an induction hob and a combi oven, and a fridge freezer. There was free parking available in an underground garage, but we were on foot - the pedestrian entrance came out right onto the pretty alleyways in the Arco old town."

The check in details could have been clearer. The keys had to be collected from "Arcoplant", which is a small garden centre a long way from the apartment. We got there on a Sunday, so the garden centre was closed and it was difficult to get in touch with the owner, but they were really friendly and helpful once we found them.
