"The hotel was stunning! Set in the jungle and in beautiful wooden cabins, it feels like low-key luxury. The restaurant was lovely, it’s quite popular on the island but the staff make sure hotel guests get good tables and are catered for. It’s very very quiet, so if you are looking for relaxation it’s perfect. The grounds are beautifully curated, it feels like you are staying in a botanical garden. The general manager was a gem, he sorted out a small issue with our room very quickly and was so hospitable for the rest of our stay, he couldn’t do enough to help. Can’t wait to go back one day!"

Some people would take issue not having AC, but it’s definitely cool enough and there is no reason to have them.

Photos of the room while booking was different from the room which we got, so were a bit upset about it.

The hotel is next to the freeway, so avoid rooms close to front due to constant traffic noise.

"The host was adorable, very helpful and warm. The bed was comfortable, the area was very cute and peaceful. The dining room was cosy and well decorated. Last but not least, the breakfast was varied and delicious, with fresh croissants!"

The shared bathroom could use a renovation (very basic shower with a shower head up on the wall) and the windows in the room were old and should be changed for better isolation. Also, you absolutely need a car as it's a bit far from the bus stop.

House keeping could be better. In 6 days stay we got only one cleaning, so we lived with full bins of trash, ashtrays etc all the time. The bbq zone was pretty much occupied with the events, wich ruined our plans to grill the time we wanted.

Fica a cerca de 10min de caminhada da Rua Caracoles, onde estão os bares e restaurantes, o que garante uma hospedagem tranquila e sem barulho. Café da manhã bom e fornecem um kit nos dias em que há necessidade de sair cedo devido aos passeios. O funcionário responsável, Fernando, é bastante gentil e presente a todo momento. A proprietária, Alejandra, uma simpatia de pessoa, muito solícita e disponível, seja via whatsapp ou mesmo presencialmente. Retornando ao Atacama, ficaremos novamente no Hostal Solor. Ótima experiência!"

"The staff especially the young girl at the counter were very helpful. She helped us a lot in planning our itinerary, which metros to take, and good places to eat . The location was good but slightly far from Taipei Main station. Even snacks were kept for the guests which were not seen in any other hotel. Overall we had a pleasant stay."
