"The location of the camp is amazing. The host/driver picked us up in Douz and drove around 120Km in the desert. The ride was crazy, if you have motion sickness, be prepared. The dinner in the camp was really really good, better than our expectation. The starry night was also stunning, we saw so many stars in the pitch black night. The hosts were also nice."

To be fair, both our driver and host doesn't really speak English, so communiation was kinda poor. To me the ride in the desert was a bit too much, I felt dizzy the whole day after. Lastly, the price was also quite high - one night for a camp 140 euro plus 140 euro for the desert ride which is not included in the booking price page.

"Gostei da localização e da zona envolvente, paisagem bonita, muito tranquilo e silencioso. Quarto espaçoso e com área exterior para preparar refeições. Fizemos o passeio Sossusvlei e Deadvlei organizado pelo hotel e gostámos. Foi bem organizado e o nosso guia era muito simpático."

Achei o Desert Camp muito dependente do Sossusvlei Lodge porque até para beber um café expresso tem de ser no Sossusvlei Lodge. Podia ser possível beber no bar da piscina do Desert Camp. As refeições (PA, almoço e jantar) fizemos no Sossusvlei Lodge e havia funcionários muito atenciosos mas outros muito rudes e mal encarados. Não disponibilizam toalhas para as mãos/rosto, só mesmo as do banho.

"Great place to relax, enjoy nature, and unwind in an otherwise busy and urban focussed Uzbekistan trip. The camp offers a lot of activities for free, which makes you feel a guest rather than a walking wallet. The staff is kind and we met the nicest people of our trip here, around the campfire provided by the yurt camp. Lastly, the dog, Bingo, was a true hero that kept us safe from "dangerous" foxes and wild cows that roamed the forest around us"

If the Yurt would be equipped with warmer, more cosy lighting it would greatly benefit the atmosphere inside

"Michel is a great host. He shares a lot about the area and the wildlife. Cabins are cosy and clean. You will eat among other travelers around a nice fire pit. Overall a great experience for all visitors."

"The environment is super peaceful, beautiful and easily accessible. Communication was excellent, and I couldn't have chosen a better place to be surrounded by nature."

"Andrea was a wonderful host and this is the perfect place for a relaxing few days. Dinner and breakfast were both excellent and the whole place has a lovely atmosphere. We enjoyed the quiet evening, drinking wine in our jacuzzi outside the tent! Because the tents are grouped around a central area, it is perfect for a group of family/friends. We are already planning a return trip! My only concern though, would be if there were families with small children running around, it would disturb other guests. This is not really a place suitable for children, and ideally should be an adults only location."

"Em primeiro lugar eu fiz uma reserva, e fui respondido nu mesmo momento, sra Alice é uma pessoa muito especial, simpática, atenciosamente pronto para ajudar em tudo,gostei muito do lugar ,fica bem situado em bom lugar,ate ela recomenda de tumar um bom pequeno almoço perto da casa dela,e também no posto de Enacol tem um bom cafe,que acorda a gente,eu recomendo 100 vez sem pensar duas vezes ,e reservar e ter uma boa estadia,quarto limpo cama acoxegante, internet muito bom agua quente ,em fim tem tudo que uma pessoa precisa naquele lugar,vou voltar e ficar mais vezes."

"Não há palavras suficientes para este local. É de uma beleza absolutamente inacreditável. Os quartos são enormes, confortáveis, românticos. O espaço dos balneários é muito agradável, limpo. E o restaurante é maravilhoso, funcionários muito profissionais, excelente comida! Tudo perfeito, a vista é maravilhosa. Recomendo acordar cedo e ver o nascer do Sol."

"The entire setup was gorgeous. Felt like a true camp. They added a lovely touch by providing big kettle in a common area which was on simmer heat with unlimited Jordanian tea. We opted for a dinner as well which was extra. Dinner buffet had a nice selection of salads and dips. They only offered one lamb, one chicken and one rice with potatoes dish. Lamb was delicious from a buffet standard. Chicken was too dry which was a shame as falvour was nice. Rice and potatoes were decent too. Only thing is they should include atleast water in buffet as standard. Lastly location seems be right on the edge of wadi rum dessert. It's about 40 mins drives from wadi rum village."

We had a buddle tent. It was modern and looks very elegant. However the floor of bubble tent was a bit dusty. I am not sure weather this was because of lack of cleaning or bubble tents are not perfectly sealed. Other than that our bathroom had no shower certain. So when one person took a shower entire bathroom got flooded. They did provide us with a floor wiper when we requested it. If they install a shower certain or shower glass, this bathroom would be perfect. Lastly we didn't get hot water. Apparently, you need to request the reception who then switch on the boiler. Given there are no phones inside the room, one has to go all the way to reception to get hot water turned on.
