"Centricallh located comfortable little hotel in Thimphu"

"+ Very friendly and helpful staff! Always smiling and polite. Breakfast is great value. Location is perfect for me. I very much enjoyed the swimming pool and there's a small gym too. I have stayed there 3 x."

Some of the bathrooms should be renovated, one leaked water even to the mainroom, which was dangerous. Even others have humidity damages and small cockroaches. I was twice bitten by insects during the night, probably bedbugs or ants, and had to ask the staff to spray my room again. Some of the sheets are obviously not pure cotton and itchy.

The weakest part of the hotel is the restaurant catering for breakfasts and all meals: the place that looks like a canteen, is not welcoming. The prices for food are for too expensive. The food is good quality. Spiritless Hotel as it feels very empty.

Apenas do ar condicionado não ser controlado no interior do quarto, faz com que fizesse muito calor durante a noite.

The room was small

"The hotel is in a very central location, meaning that you can easily navigate by foot or by taxi to many of the malls that you are close by. The breakfast is amazing and sufficiently varied to satisfy most palates."

O hotel é composto de 3 prédios, perto um do outro. Fiquei hospedada com meu marido em um quarto e minha filha, que chegou depois e ficou em um quarto single, ficou em outro prédio. Não chegou a ser um problema, mas é bom saber com antecedência.

No hot shower, which was inconvenient. Noisy installations that affected comfort (water pump, no well isolated for insects) The check-in process was a bit complicated, but since it's a family-run business, we were understanding.

"A prontidão que sempre tiveram para atender os clientes, se lhes solicitas algo rapidamente o fazem, atenção que dão aos clientes, houve uma situação em particular que me fez realmente ficar ainda mais surpreendido com o hotel e as pessoas que lá trabalham, 1 dia depois da minha chegada era meu aniversário, fizeram questão de me levar um bolo e deixar no quarto, escrito parabéns e com o prato todo decorado, são poucos os lugares que fazem questão de ter esse trabalho!!"

Mobiliário e decoração um pouco datada, mas o hotel está a fazer remodelação progressiva. Horário do pequeno almoço acaba muito cedo e sala é pequena.

Despite the high quality and fact Kempinski is an international premium brand, the room rates and restaurant prices were very reasonable"

Please note the hotel is about a 30 minute walk from the main square and public taxis are very few. To get around, you need to have a Mongolian SIM to use the taxi apps, master the bus system, of hitchhike

Food not so inspiring

"O hotel é muito bonito, cheio de espaços verdes. Comida boa e com variadade. Os funcionários muito simpáticos. A Laura do Kids Club é uma pessoa super querida com muita energia."

All inclusive não é bem all inclusive. No bar da pisicna algumas opções estão incluídas mas outras tem que se pagar a parte. Por exemplo a pizza Margherita está incluída mas outras já se paga. A salada simples está incluída mas de atum já tem um valor acrescentado. Parte do SPA não está incluída para as reservas do Booking. Esta parte devia ser bem clara mas não é. Que nas facilidades tem SPA e fitness center mas apenas no final diz que jacuzzi é pago a parte. Booking deverá mencionar logo que o SPA não está incluído no preço. O Kids Club precisava de uma renovação. O parque está bastante degradado.

"A lovely quiet residential neighbourhood . Lots of birds in the garden . Lovely pool and outdoor seating area. We could walk out of our room to the pool and terrace. Marian looked after us very well ."

"All in all the service provided by the hotel during my 3 night stay was amazing. All the services requires are available and event it is more convenient with the additional hospitality provided by our host of the meeting PNG Customs."

The only challenge I encounter which requires some improvement is the internet connectivity especially the WFI coverage and connectivity which at times it is very weak while in the room. Otherwise everything else provided by the hotel is exceptionally outstanding.

"Beautiful room room with view on the pool and the ocean. All comfort included, the free shuttle to the city center or to the airport is very valuable, the staff was very kind and professional ! Would definitely come back :)"

Note that the breakfast is in extra but exquisite !
