There was honestly nothing to dislike. Everything was very well organized, and the staff ensured that every small detail was taken care of promptly and politely, making the experience seamless and stress-free.

"The hotel is clean and modern, and while it's a little further away from the centre of Thimphu this usually won't matter since you need a driver to do most things anyway. My room was comfortable, with a heater and heated mattress to stay cosy on the colder nights. The staff were friendly and helped me book tours and taxis. The food was good and the portions were large. It was a little too cold to use when I visited but the rooftop lounge looked lovely as well. All in all I think this hotel is a great choice for the price."

Booking.com lists a washing machine and tumble dryer among the hotel's facilities but this is not true. Since I had been expecting to use these and had no clean clothes left I was forced to use the hotel's paid laundry service. They took three days to wash and dry my clothes, they came back smelling of smoke, and they charged me an extortionate 3600BTN. The hotel should remove this false information from the Booking.com listing and consider using an off-site laundry service if they are unable to provide an acceptable service on-site.
