Road to the camp is not in the best conditions.

Not a problem with the campsite: there is 8 km unpaved road only to this place.

"Tolles Erlebnis, mega Sonnenaufgang. Tatsächlich bequemer als erwartet. Der Bäcker um Frühstück zu besorgen ist nur 1 Minute entfernt."

Die Ablage am Kopfende war nicht sauber ( tote Fliegen , Sand) , eine der LED Kerzen funktionierte nicht. Wir hatten uns zum Glück eine Lichterkette mitgebracht. Das sollte bei dem Preis doch schon der Fall sein.

The proximity and the 180-degree view of the sea, the unmatched decor items, fairy lights and stellar interior planning, the very small-but-important facility and comfort details that have been considered, the quaint and romantic area around the dome, the considerate and responsive hosts all come together to make this a true gem here in Latvia. It feels like the place is kept beautiful and tidy out of genuine care for the wellbeing and pleasure of the guests. The hot tub costs extra, but a hot tub with a direct view of the sea is another rarirty here that is well worth the money. Absolutely recommended without hesitation, and I wish the hosts the endurance to keep this up, as we will 100% be looking to come back to this corner of paradise!"

To be nitpicky, the tap water seems to have high iron content, hence some water discoloration and odor. Nevertheless, there is extra drinkable water provided so this is not an issue really.

"Great set up, breakfast, it poured with rain one night and the tent was dry as a bone. Dog loved it. Didn’t use the swimming pool but looked good for families. Good showers and communal cooking facilities."

"The location, the tents, the food and the staff were excellent. A lovely rustic place to stay! Really enjoyed the night walk, the canoe ride as well as the sounds of the jungle at night. The tents were incredible apart from it being really hot and give you the true feeling of being close to nature. The staff is very prompt and attentive and we really enjoyed the local food cooked with ingredients from the neighbouring areas."

It was quite hot and the fan was available only for a few hours each day.

"It was cosy , clean and had all the requirements we needed , great bed nice warm cosy cabin .Great trips Nikol and James excellent northern light and husky walk the morning / definitely recommend super friendly guys and we got to see the lights."

Nothing much , staff that worked in the office could have been friendlier, like greet and show a interest when you come for breakfast, but not much more to mention . Great stay

"Leuke locatie, makkelijk te vinden, goede verbinding met de uitstappen die we wilden doen. Onthaal was zeer goed, duidelijke uitleg, vriendelijk. Uitchecken ook vlotjes verlopen. Op de camping zelf was het zeer rustig, parking aan de lodgetent was zeker een meerwaarde! Lodgetent op zich was zeer proper, ruim, bedlinnen roken erg fris, dus zeer aangenaam. Prijs kwaliteit zeker een aanrader! We hebben er van genoten en gaan in de toekomst zeker nog eens beroep doen van deze accomodatie"

Locatie van de lodgetent was dicht tegen de straatkant waaraan ook een parking gelegen was. Dit zorgde wel voor wat lawaai aangezien er ook veel verkeer was in de nacht. We konden dit gelukkig wel weg filteren :)

"It is situated not so far from the Kolsai lake, the position is suitable for parking as well."

We ordered urta - the kazakh national house for living but the temperature was + 11 degrees above zero only, for south people it’s too cold for summer, thus we asked the administrator to change the place of living , she agreed but the room was only for two people not for four and the prices were different, urta costs 38.000 tg, the room- 25000, and administrator didn’t return the difference.
