"Everything from the transfer drive in the lodge 4x4 and boat hop to the island was first class. Our tented accommodation was superb. Loved the outside shower (there is an internal shower). The included game drives and river cruise were fantastic and our guides were friendly and informative. Hippos in the river close by, monkeys in the trees. You really feel you are in the bush. Food, superb. Service, superb. Full stocked mini bar. Seating area around the fire pit, amazing. I could go on all day with positives. Highly recommend 👌"

Having to leave

"I was in Siwa with friends. This trip was exceptional, I met wonderful people. The owner, Ahmed, was an exceptionally wonderful person. He asked us every day if we needed anything."

"Nice place by the river and mountains in the middle of nature, double room with the shower and toilet. Friendly staff."

Not a problem with the campsite: there is 8 km unpaved road only to this place.

There was nothing that I didn’t like. I would offer a suggestion that a mosquito net is put over the bed.

"the slecuded. quiet peaceful grounds, the air circulation of sleeping in the tent, air flow thru mesh mosquito mesh, out side enclosed bathroom facilities,the yoga barn and good selection of books to to read in comfy arm chairs very nice plunger coffee with plunger ,over all a very pleasant 5 nights spent at this echo retreat"

maybe fresh seasonal fruit platter for breakfast as some photos show on their website, but, the muesli and little fruit, apple juice and coconut milk was very adequate

Little bit of confusion over what meals were included in the rate however staff were really nice and we were able to resolve easily.

"O conceito é diferente, o local é magico. Para uma noite é funcional. A dona do espaço é disponivel e tenta ter o espaço sempre limpo e funcional."

O facto das casas de banho serem longe e fora da tenda, mas percebemos o conceito e foi fantastico o tempo que passamos lá.

In the afternoon it can be hot in the tent, so this makes it difficult to do a nap. A camping stove is available, so this was very welcomed. Onside a nice relaxing beach, where you can enjoy the water with paddling, just swimming or gaze at the ocean. During the night this area was quiet. Bathroom is near the house and supplies cold and hot water. He knows where to get good food, and cheap transport. A mosquito net may be handy next time. I really recommend this place."
