He really takes care of his guests in every way and makes sure, you‘re always taken good care of. I can also recommend this place as very safe for solo female travelers. "Very cozy place owned by an incredibly friendly and welcoming family. Breakfast was included in the price and it was always absolutely delicious — thanks to them, I had the chance to try several traditional Sri Lankan dishes I wouldn’t have discovered on my own. Whenever I needed anything, they were quick to help and always took care of everything with a smile. Their hospitality truly made my stay feel special and comfortable. Thank you once again for such a warm and memorable experience!"

The place is located a bit farther from the main areas, so you’ll need to walk a few kilometers, take a tuk-tuk, or have your own vehicle. However, there is a small convenience shop right next to the accommodation, which is handy if you need anything. If you’re sensitive to noise at night, it might be an issue — though that’s quite common for most hostels and village houses in Sri Lanka.

Only 1 bathroom on the main floor and bedrooms on a different floor (yes, I knew it when I booked it, but it deserves mentioned as this apperas to be a general problem everywhere in Norway). Wifi did not work, even after calling the owner. We had to call and then mess around to get the heating to work in one room. There was parking but the host suggested that we park down by the street -- DOWN the hill, in the pouring rain. There should be better organized and marked parking spots per apartment (There are 3 at the location, sharing parking).

I didn't not like anything, but a knife to cut things with would have been useful and maybe mugs for tea/coffee as there were only some small paper cups.

Missed an on-site restaurant and had to drive almost six kms away for decent breakfast. The Wifi could be better. The approach road is accessible only by a off roader 4x4.

"It was so homely and comfortable and had a beautiful balcony. I loved that it was far enough away from Zrce beach but close enough for a cheap uber, allowing us to be in the heart of the real croatia. the beach was so close and was so beautiful and secluded and we all really enjoyed ourselves! It was really easy to use all of the facilities like the job and microwave and shower and we were able to get on with daily activities as usual."

"On arrival 'Grandad' greeted us with a smile and a cup of 'ginger tea' 😊 The location is peaceful and on the edge of the forest. Only 15mins walking to seven eleven, shops, etc. The room was comfy and clean. Good value too. Bed was super comfy soft to firm! Easy to safely store our bicycles 🚴🚴 A great place to visit and Grandad may also show you around his collection of antiques. HIGHLY recommended 👌"
