"We love the area, close to the ocean, the view is fantastic. We lived in Trou deau Douce 25 years ago at Valmarin. It was wonderful to be back and these apartments has so much potential, but unfortunately it’s not taking care of. The cleaning lady was very kind."

The apartments weren’t cleaned when we arrived. The underfloor apartment was full of black mold. The pool is not taking care of. No sunbeds. You could easily do a quick renovation, do some painting and take care of these apartments and it would be wonderful. Now we love this area and has lot of friends in Trou deau Douce so we wanted to stay there. We had no contact with the owners, they didn’t answer us, but the housekeeper/cleaning lady was nice and answered, she come and clean when we asked for it.

"Quiet neighbourhood but not secluded. Close to Blue Bay, very close to Kokomo Beach for great snorkelling early in the day, and the flamingo habitat was always fun to check out. Grocery store was a 5 minute drive away. Many restaurant choices a short drive away. 10-15 mins from downtown Willemstad, with plenty of parking near the Fort. Ed was a wonderful host! And the private pool at the end of a long hot day was a blessing."

Could not find coffee filters for the coffee machine in any store…:)

"Excellent apartment with everything you could need- comfortable bed, great shower, small kitchenette with microwave & oven, dishwasher & kettle. Located half way between the train/bus station & old town but shops/restaurants are close by. Lovely host who was very accommodating and response to my queries. Would definitely stay here again."

It did mention washing machine, but there wasn’t one in the apartment, but there may have been one available for the apartment complex. I didn’t need to do washing so didn’t follow up about it.

"Very friendly service, it was very clean. Very safe, the beds are pure white and comfortable, luxurious kitchen and sitting room. I will stay there definitely again. Thank you very much."

"The place was very, very quiet (you only heard the rustling of th sea) and the view on the sea was extremely beautiful, one of the best sea views I ever saw (and I travelled a lot!). When I was there I also saw very many butterflies. The room was well equipped with fridge and tea facilities. The lady can make good meals. The village of Sauteurs is only half an hour walking from the place over a quiet road. Sauteurs is a little dull but has a certain Caribbean charm."

There is no airco. The cottages are on a slope, so sometimes you have to climb from your cottage to th reception and restaurant.

A proper shower would be nice. And a garden tap would be useful.

"Position of the apartment Is abosolutely perfect. Metro and all the Transport are really near and Easy tò take it. we have a 3 month-old baby . our journey finished in the morning but we have the Flight in the evening and Adrienn was kind enough to let us stay in the warmth of the apartment until we left for the airport. Really thank you Adrienn."

The neighbors in the neighborhood are also very friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more pleasant. The garden and outdoor space are just perfect. There is also a dining hall and a fully equipped kitchen that we used for a barbecue, plus bathrooms available on the ground floor near the kitchen and dining area. Everything was simply perfect and made our vacation safe and amazing. A big thank you for the warm hospitality!"

"O hotel é bem pitoresco. A decoração é toda de lugares que a proprietária viajou, peças antigas e lindas. A proprietária é simplesmente maravilhosa. Nos recebe como se fossemos amigos. Os funcionários extremamente cordiais e solicitos. O café da manhã muito bom. Espero poder voltar lá."

O exaustor do banheiro poderia ser um pouco maior.
