Just like everywhere in Faroese Islands its a bit pricy, but still reasonable compared to other options.

"😊 Ban Lakkham River View Hotel in Luang Prabang is a hidden gem! 🌟 Location is 🔥 - it's situated right by the Mekong River, offering stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere. You can watch the sunset over the river and enjoy the laid-back vibe. The staff, especially Tom, were amazing! 🤩 I was feeling pretty sick, but Tom went above and beyond, providing me with electrolytes and making sure I was comfortable. His kindness and care made a huge difference. Overall, I'd give Ban Lakkham River View Hotel 5/5 stars for location and staff. Would definitely recommend and stay again! 🏨💕"

"The room was large and spacious. Very comfortable beds and a well appointed bathroom. A seating area was a welcome extra. Breakfast was excellent -with a glass of Istenic sparkling! The garden attached to the winery is a really peaceful setting for a morning’s (or more) relaxation over coffee and more sparkling wine. All the staff we met were friendly and welcoming. Thank you to them."

Only downside is the location that means restaurants are a short drive away - even the closest (about 1km) is a drive because of the fast narrow road without pavement. The main town of Brezice is worth visiting though for its restaurants, cafes, castle and water tower.

"The villas are on private property just off the beach road that divides the property to peaceful lush gardens with villas and the beach side with pool, bar, outdoor shower and beach area. Villa has a spacious teracce that is perfect spot for relaxing and wildlife watching - birds, iguanas, parrots, butterflies, collibries - better than the Gilpin trail! :) Each villa has own host that met us at our arrival. She helped us to settle, showed us the house and next day she cooked the lunch for us as per our wish - the local cuisine - callaloo, cou cou and mahi mahi and it was delicious."

That we could not stay longer! :) And the fans above the bed were little fast, not able to slow them down.

Para o melhor, mas também para o pior, Port Glaud é um dos locais mais remotos da ilha de Mahé. Há que fazer um trajecto de mais de 30 minutos por uma estrada sinuosa que sobe e desce a montanha a partir de Victória. O acesso ao mar é fácil, mas não há um grande número de praias banháveis em redor, ou que sejam de fácil acesso. As que há têm o acesso condicionado pelos resorts maiores, ou estão, em grande parte, ocupadas pelas espreguiçadeiras destes. A excepção é a praia de Port Launay, maravilhosa e suficientemente ampla e acessível para comportar a presença de todos os outros que não apenas os hóspedes do resort. É reduzida a oferta de restaurantes (o Delplace é excelente) e os dos resorts não estão, por regra, abertos ao público. Da casa, os únicos pontos negativos a registar será a falta de alguns utensilios de cozinha (não essenciais, mas que seria agradável ter, como um espremedor de citrinos, por exemplo, ou uma tesoura que cortasse) e a iluminação, de luzes muito brancas (todas elas, até no quarto), mal posicionadas e mesmo "agressivas" (como no caso da cozinha). Trata-se, no entanto, e pelo que pudemos constatar, de uma constante na ilha. O acesso à internet também é pouco fiável, mas não por qualquer deficiência na infraestrutura da casa.

There was no parking available at our arrival. We didn't knew it needed to be reserved in advance. But very helpful staff helped resolve this small problem pretty fast.

"Perfect location with great views of the mountains and river in the beautiful town of Arco. The apartment was nicely decorated in italian style and included a great hot tub bath and a 4k television. The kitchen was reasonably well appointed with an induction hob and a combi oven, and a fridge freezer. There was free parking available in an underground garage, but we were on foot - the pedestrian entrance came out right onto the pretty alleyways in the Arco old town."

The check in details could have been clearer. The keys had to be collected from "Arcoplant", which is a small garden centre a long way from the apartment. We got there on a Sunday, so the garden centre was closed and it was difficult to get in touch with the owner, but they were really friendly and helpful once we found them.
