Gita's House

"A estadia foi muito agradável. O quarto é limpo, calmo, com um pátio individual com mesa e cadeira (exige um repelente em cada mesa e almofadas bem originais). Há lugar para moto ou carro. Existe bastante vegetação. Os empregados são muito atenciosos. O pequeno almoço é bastante razoável com fruta, ovos, leite, café, iogurte... No quarto, deixam sempre água, saquetas de café, chá , bolachas ... A água da casa de banho é realmente quente. A cama é bastante larga e confortável. O Mercado noturno do sábado é bastante próximo."

"Nice, spacious room, good breakfast. It is in a more quiet area of Chiang Rai but withing 10 to 15 minutes walking you will be in the city centre. Bikes are available for free but need some repairing tbf.. Very nice family vibes, sparkly clean, we really liked it here!"

"We stayed at Gita’s Home for just one night while visiting Chiang Rai before an early flight to Bangkok. We arrived quite early in the morning and were very grateful that we could check in earlier, and the next day we also had to leave very early. Even though our stay was short, we really loved the vibe of the place. Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, and everything was well organized. The rooms were beautiful, and the garden was absolutely magical. We only wish we could have stayed longer."

"The house was in a peaceful area, with lovely gardens. Our room was spacious , clean and comf ortable. There was a small covered outside patio, with chairs for relaxing, and even anti-mos spray provided. Breakfast was good and varied. The staff was friendly and helpful, letting us stay in our room after normal checkout time as we had a late afternoon flight."

"Good sized chalet rooms with good hard beds and spacious bathrooms. The 2 housekeepers on site don't speak too much English but try real hard and are polite and smiley. The wellness/ nomad vibe works reasonably well ( especially if you like ' laughter yoga') and especially amongst Europeans it seems. A little green oasis amongst the backstreets - it can be hard to find, although its only around 1K or so from most evening attractions, and the river)."

"I really didnt like the breakfasts- Gita's styles itself as ' a humble guesthouse' and only has 2 staff it seems, but i still wasnt expecting this to be repetitive, poor quality and unvaried. It was supposed to be ' a healthy choice' but much of the food was heavily processed, cheaply made and one dimensional. Be careful if you have a larger than average car- parking can be a bit of a challenge onsite."

"Really friendly hosts. Scooters and bicycles available to rent for a good price. Spotlessly clean and pretty place. Great breakfast! Not too far from town, especially with a scooter."
