The tropical gardens around the hotel were beautiful and larger than any hotel gardens I have seen elsewhere in Asia and very well maintained. In particular we would like to mention Mr Tony Tong the Hospitality Manager who was very helpful advising us on excursions and sorting out a serious travel problem (0ne railway ticket booked instead of two!)"

Pool was awesome. Appreciated the sea bird conservation in the island. I actually loved the sounds of the Puffin de Pacifique birds at night - I thought it was a child crying at first lol… bungalows have earplugs, luckily! Complimentary buffet breakfast was good. Got a generous late check out, service was really good from the boat to the front desk to the restaurant and bar. Everyone speaks a very high level of English, not sure where the negative comments about staff come from - they were the best I experienced in NC by far."

It’s an expensive buffet dinner (around $80aud) but the choices were really good, esp the fresh seafood and all the desserts. It’s just not worth it if you don’t eat huge dinners. Order à la carte options instead, but nice to try the buffet just once. Consider BYO noodles and alcohol if you want to save money, buying food and drinks from the restaurant and bar adds up quick. Would have been good to be able to lock/unlock the back beach access door from outside with a key.

室内の鍵がかからない所がある。バルコニーへの鍵も壊れてて開かない。外スリッパも準備されているのに。時期的なものもあるかも知れないけど、窓が虫ついてて汚れている。 近くにコンビニ等ないので、夕食はよく考えてから施設に向かいましょう。

"We are thankful for the wonderful Christmas week spent in villa Castoria. Marina Liptov. First of all, the accommodation itself: a nice family sofa, cosy fireplace, fully equipped kitchen, and a marvelous view to the mountains and winter river ❤️ The service is perfect!"

You definitely need a car and we had difficulty hiring one.There was also no water on our last day. This is overcome by a back up system which needs to be turned on by staff who may not be on site till 10am

"The country charm is irresistible. We stayed here first in December and fell in love with this place. When snow covers the ground it looks magical. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a warm welcoming stay. The stuff is always ready to help and very kind, receptionist was there 24/7 for easy check-in and check out."

"Staff are friendly and helpful, and our room was good. The environment is beautiful, and we love the Rossmund golf estate."

There seems to be a lack of management oversight, with some areas for improvement. For example, one of the bath mats which was in place in front of the shower had holes in it - which really shouldn't happen. And there is a need for a "refresh" of the the rooms.

"Workers are all gentle & generous; always smile on their face . Animation staff is top . Foods are very delicious & u find many varieties; the chef of the kitchen is exceptional. Thanks to Mouna & Thekra in the reception; they are very helpful."

"Wij hadden de benedenverdieping van de Villa. In één woord: heerlijk! De accommodatie is ruim, schoon en voorzien van alle gemakken. Het zwembad is heerlijk waar de kids zich ook goed in vermaakt hebben. De omgeving is niet erg toeristisch, maar met een beetje goed zoeken zijn er diverse mooie wandelroutes in de omgeving. De host is erg vriendelijk en staat voor je klaar."

"I liked how it had its own private little beach area, very clean and quaint. The view was very nice and serene."

Getting to the resort was a bit of a trip, not a long trip, but a trip through the rough parts of the town, very different.

"Everything was spot on, from the friendly staff to the scrumptious food and the spectacular views...my family and i wish we could stay longer and we will definitely be back soon."

I wish the restaurant area lighti g could be improved especially closer to the water...it would make a lovely evening entertainment area.

"Hotel muito bom, com tamanho bom dos quartos. Comida boa, farta e sempre disponível! Bebidas de qualidade ok pelo preço com chope e drinks a vontade. Boa piscinas e áreas de descanso. A Praia em frente não é tão bonita, porém o mar não tem ondas e é bastante agradável. Além disso o por do sol que se ve da sacada dos quartos é belíssimo, vale a pena!"

A limpeza dos corredores/elevadores fica devendo, porém mais pela falta de educação dos hóspedes do que o próprio hotel. A praia tem poucos lugares na areia para ficar e o acesso a bebidas fica bem restrito pois você deve retornar ao hotel para poder beber algo na praia. As comidas do restaurantes a la carte deixam a desejar, o melhor é curtir a experiência do buffet. A água do chuveiro tinha pouca vazão e não esquentava direito.
