"Hospedar-se em Solitaire foi uma excelente escolha para quem vem de Walvis Bay a caminho de Sossusvlei. O local funciona como um pequeno oásis no deserto, reunindo hotel, posto de gasolina, restaurante, loja de conveniência e uma padaria — tudo com um charme rústico e cênico. O hotel é ótimo: quartos amplos, limpos e com um bom banheiro. O staff do hotel e do restaurante é muito simpático e acolhedor. A comida é simples, mas cumpre bem o papel."

"the food!!!.... delicious dinner and nice breakfast....happy staff ..lizzy is lovely, the young men waiting on customers are great . the room was massive, cookies, milk etc. ..such a great welcome."

"This is a very nice hotel located alomost in the middle of nowhere, the 'town' is very small, but the hotel is very nice, there is a swimming pool, rooms are big and there is hot/cold water, restaurant serves good breakfast and nice choice for dinner, very friendly staff at the reception."

"Fantastic location miles from anywhere, a oasis in the desert, renowned for the best apple pie in Namibia. Great place, fuel and food avable. Acvomodation chalet type accomodation simple, clean and with a fantastic powerfully shower to blast thar desert dust away. Highly recommended and will visit again next time we are passing."

"Little crickets or locas what ever they where dive bombing the window all night, but yiu get use to it after 30 minutes, a bit like rain hitting the window."

"Nice stop over between Sossusvlei and Swakopmund Nicly decorated property, with a very nice view of the sunset Gas station is open, even if it doesn't look that way"

"The staff is just great, and the place is very cozy. Breakfast is quite good, they make real cappuccino for you, and eggs on breakfast as you want, though there is not a lot of choice, anyway I liked it. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable"

"Good location to get to rest before Sossusvlei after tough drive from Windhoek. Delicious breakfast and amazing coffee and cappucinos. Filling station and general store. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Spacious and comfortable rooms."

"It was literally an oasis in the middle of the desert. The property was easy to find, well maintained (daily pruning, cleaning and maintenance) and very romantic looking. It felt like we were on a movie set."

"It’s not the property’s fault but the insects are insane. Maybe more mosquito and grasshopper repellents, nets and other precautions"
