"Where do I start? I suppose a one liner would suffice – What an incredible stay MADE INCREDIBLE by the superb front of house manager Chaymae. I’ve travelled to 198 countries; stayed in accommodation ranging from basic to delightfully fancy. What makes us return to places like this? Is the consistently fabulous treatment and going the extra mile by someone as professional, courteous and downright charming as Chaymae. The hotel is a hidden gem; the food tremendous and the jazz nights transport you into old Morocco. Go."

"Beautiful authentic character property. Extremely helpful staff. Loved the evening vibe with live jazz. Location was perfect for strolling around the souks, visiting the main square and many of the tourist attractions."

"The door to our room opened out straight onto diners eating of an evening. We were ok with this but it was unusual and wouldn’t work for everyone."

"Major Notes (as you wine buffs say )are Location - Ambience - Bistro Arabe with on-site jazz - rooftop restaurant Pergola. So ….. if they say 50 is the age when Why questions should convert to Why Nots then Riad Monceau is a Why Not at any age ."

"Minor Notes- TV flattered then frustrated to deceive. I’d skip any Taxi starting with the moniker JonyTravel - they asked for Flight Details ( given ) when they really meant ETA ( lazy ) and then despite my multiple contacts with them on arrival after Customs they claimed I was a No Show ( ie No Refund ."

"It was an immaculate Riad in a very good position in the medina , the staff were very friendly & especially Soufian on the front desk who was extremely helpful to every request & enquiry. The 2 restaurants are fantastic & there is a great bar. There is live jazz music every evening, which creates a wonderful atmosphere . We ate twice at L’arabe Bistro, the rooftop restaurant - excellent. You won’t regret staying here"
