"I loved that it was nestled in its own private space. There are 4 lodges in the vicinity and all have their own balcony’s that you can enjoy individually. Our water pressure was great. Also the unit was nice and clean."

Nothing: We actually didn’t book the transfers cause we had another vehicle organised however that fell through. But mama let us go first to the lodge and she’d wait at the airport. Lucky she got a ride back home from the family at airport. She has an immense amount of responsibility and knowledge of the island. As a local to Rarotonga people like her are very rare to be around. "This property was tucked away in the rain forest. Alejandro was exceptional, his knowledge of nature and the beneficial properties of plants from his garden which he had specifically grown was like having a professor with us all the time. He and His wife Christiana also incorporated some of the fruit and vegetables into our stunning breakfasts which were freshly prepared each morning.. Alejandro was incredibly helpful booking restaurants. He always greeted us with a smile and was a perfect host. We felt perfectly relaxed by the end of the stay."

Would have liked more light, and water pressure but to be honest we didn’t mention it to him so he could fix it.

Malheureusement été déçus par le jacuzzi qui ne fonctionnait pas. C'est le point qui nous a le plus dérangés et qui a gâché le séjour car j'ai payé un supplément pour profiter de cette option avec mes enfants cela devait être une surprise. Je tiens tout de même à remercier le membre du personnel qui a tenté de faire une réparation. Malgré ses efforts et sa bonne volonté, le problème n'a pas pu être résolu. C'est dommage de ne pas avoir pu en profiter durant notre séjour.

It is 30 minutes on a very bumpy road from the gate to the national park and we were the only people to pass through each day. This end of the park is forest and scrub so very difficult to see game. There are not many roads in the park and almost no signage.

"This is a fantastic location if you want to get away from the bustle of the city and only half an hour from the airport and Agadir. Beautifully restored Kasbah with productive gardens and a salt water pool (perfect if like me you can't cope with chlorine) We were lucky enough to visit after rain and the wildflowers blooming in the surrounding fields were beautiful. Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly."

1. There was no Iron in the room (it is written in the room facilities) 2. Noisy neighbours (they celebrated birthday and used equipment for loud music and jumped in the pool)

"It was like staying at someone’s home. V good, helpful staff and bed was v comfortable. The food was surprisingly decent for such a small place. Picturesque location even though snow was sparse at the time"

Only gripe might be that the air was quite dry, making sleep quality not so good: might be because of it being a wooden bldg

"This is an incredible place. I loved the uninterrupted views of the forest from our balcony where we could see the elephants visiting the watering hole. We had elephants, an antelope and a green monkey just by our lodge. The food was good, the staff lovely. The safaris were excellent, Rakim and Hassan had good knowledge of the flora and fauna as well as being friendly and humourus. Zaina Lodge is such a beautiful and peacful place to stay. Nearly everything has been thought of. It was great to meet Jeanette the genet too, she is beautiful."

Only a few minor things - I would have liked a proper fridge in my room to store my medicine, and a warning that lizards might poo on our floor - we were quite alarmed at the little black things until we realised what they were!

Resort já merecia investimento na renovação do mobiliário quartos assim como do acesso privado ao mesmo.

"Very comfortable room, although close to main road no significant road noise. Lovely setting at edge of town with immediate access for cycle or walking in fields behind. Staff very helpful and food good value for hotel facilities. Ample breakfast included too. They offer excursions but we did not try due to lack of time. Hotel arranged transfer to airport which was perfect."

Would have been nice if pool had been heated - a bit cool in the late afternoon for a swim. Recognize this would differ seasonally.

"A localização é muito boa, fica a poucos metros do centro da bonita aldeia de Kakopetria, no centro das montanhas de Troodros e perto de muitas aldeias e trilhos de montanha para fazer. O quarto é grande e estava muito bem limpo, lençóis lavados e imaculados, com frigorífico e ainda tem uma varanda grande e com excelentes vistas das montanhas. Muito bonito e acolhedor. Recomendo pois é uma boa relação preço qualidade. O pequeno almoço é abundante e em buffet num ambiente tradicional e muito agradável."

Tudo bom, apenas o isolamento de ruído dos quartos ao lado é que não é muito grande, mas depende dos outros hóspedes e não é nada problemático.

"Ich habe mich hier von Tag 1 sehr wohl gefühlt. Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber und die Betreuung vor Ort war sehr lobenswert."

"Nice forest hut on the edge of a forest - 10 min to a beach by foot. You are really almost in the middle of nature here. The forest was full of blackberries when we were there. The kitchenette corner is smallish but sufficient to make a meal for a family of four."

It may be a bit challenging to find the right road leading to the house, but we managed. Go past the road leading to the two storey apartment houses, and turn to the left of the warehouse-like structure which is further on the road.
