As in a lot of places the wifi sometimes doesn't work but that is not specifically for this place though. I blame Africell 😊

No shampoo available and i wasnt aware of same before booking else would have brought mine. Towels stayed wet and had to use same both for shower and pool. Amenities should be provided to allow for wet clothes and towels to dry, like a drying line in the bathroom.

House keeping could be better. In 6 days stay we got only one cleaning, so we lived with full bins of trash, ashtrays etc all the time. The bbq zone was pretty much occupied with the events, wich ruined our plans to grill the time we wanted.

You cannot walk to the beach. Taxis are expensive.

"The hotel was stunning! Set in the jungle and in beautiful wooden cabins, it feels like low-key luxury. The restaurant was lovely, it’s quite popular on the island but the staff make sure hotel guests get good tables and are catered for. It’s very very quiet, so if you are looking for relaxation it’s perfect. The grounds are beautifully curated, it feels like you are staying in a botanical garden. The general manager was a gem, he sorted out a small issue with our room very quickly and was so hospitable for the rest of our stay, he couldn’t do enough to help. Can’t wait to go back one day!"

Some people would take issue not having AC, but it’s definitely cool enough and there is no reason to have them.

"We wanted to try the glass igloos. Great experience because you can see the lake, even if it's covered in snow. There's a Zoo and Activity Park nearby, so we had plenty to do both days."

The main disadvantage of this accommodation is that you do not have a bathroom, only the toilet is shared, where there is a sink. The organic toilet in the igloo, I did not understand how an adult is supposed to fit in there. The breakfast has a very basic menu. I was also sorry that before ten o'clock they really warned us in the restaurant that it closes at ten, although of course I understand that.

Fica a cerca de 10min de caminhada da Rua Caracoles, onde estão os bares e restaurantes, o que garante uma hospedagem tranquila e sem barulho. Café da manhã bom e fornecem um kit nos dias em que há necessidade de sair cedo devido aos passeios. O funcionário responsável, Fernando, é bastante gentil e presente a todo momento. A proprietária, Alejandra, uma simpatia de pessoa, muito solícita e disponível, seja via whatsapp ou mesmo presencialmente. Retornando ao Atacama, ficaremos novamente no Hostal Solor. Ótima experiência!"
