"We had such a lovely time at Nena House with Francoise as a welcoming hostess for our travel group of 4 adults and 6 kids (9-16). Being in touch with Francoise while planning the trip was very pleasant and professional. It was very nice she checked out dinner plans on the day we arrived before hand. The traditional houses are a delight, clean and with mosquito nets. The facilities are basic, and fine. The neighbor bar is nice for some festive vibes and a drink. The food is delicious. Eating breakfast in the garden with the beautiful view on the Rwandan hills is like paradise. Francoise is very kind in informing about local walks and in our case we where lucky enough to be there while there was a yearly harvest festival. She offered to go with us. We will never forget the experience of seeing the ceremony and traditional dancing and meeting some people in the village. If you plan a visit or are traveling through Ruhashia (near Kings Palace) we can highly recommend Nenas house!"

The road towards the accommodation may be a challenge for light weight cars, but -definitely with 4 wheel drives- if you take it easy it is doable and worth it!

"Alojamento no centro histórico da cidade. Um verdadeiro achado! Limpo e cheiroso. As camas são macias e confortáveis! A simpatia da dona faz toda a diferença. Tem elevador para subir com malas. Há 3 casas de banho partilhadas, 2 delas com chuveiro, o que deu perfeitamente para os hóspedes, pois sempre que eu precisava de ir estavam livres. Preço ótimo! Um verdadeiro achado! Recomendo bastante!"

Nas casas de banho não vi shampoo ou gel de banho, mas não havia problema pois eu tinha levado, no entanto fica a dica para outros clientes. O isolamento não é muito bom, visto que eu conseguia ouvir a cozinha do restaurante em baixo e passos do andar de cima, mas nada que fosse desagradável.

O corredor faz eco e o ruído ouve-se muito nos quartos. Tem uma mesquita do lado oposto da estrada e portanto é o despertador das 5h da manhã.

Wifi was a bit slow, but not a big problem.

The place was clean, but it felt like there was room for improvement. Additionally, cars with low ground clearance would need to be parked approximately 100 meters away.

"absolutely top ', nice and kind is the owner. We were absolutely excited by breakfast - everything was fresh and homemade and we got the stories about all products which were used. We loved it and we will come with pleasure again. We can only recommended. and like a bonus, we can stay with our small dog, what was the first time in the existence of this hotel. Thank you again. "We had an amazing stay! The hosts Kristina and Kozma and their cute little dog were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. They even shared the tastiest fresh tomatoes from their garden. The balcony had a gorgeous view over the sea, and they were kind enough to give us a ride back to Vlora. Honestly, such lovely people – highly recommend!"
