"The owners were right next door and very accomodating. They were very nice people.The apartment was clean and everything was provided. The air conditioner worked well and there was a little outdoor porch with a breeze. There was also a washing machine in the apartment."

Thibaud is rather isolated and buses are few and far between.

"Very friendly and helpful hosts, very sweet of them to call and paid for a taxi for us when we were leaving. They offered us food and presents too. Informed us of good spots to visit too."

Wifi was a bit slow, but not a big problem.

"Location was perfect and the house was super clean and comfortable for our family of 5. The owners were awesome and even brought us fresh picked fruit. The view from the front room with its oversized sliding door is spectacular. This picture was taken right out the front door."

When it was raining a bit water dripping inside from roof. But it’s ok bcs I think that’s drawback from the building design.

"Alojamento no centro histórico da cidade. Um verdadeiro achado! Limpo e cheiroso. As camas são macias e confortáveis! A simpatia da dona faz toda a diferença. Tem elevador para subir com malas. Há 3 casas de banho partilhadas, 2 delas com chuveiro, o que deu perfeitamente para os hóspedes, pois sempre que eu precisava de ir estavam livres. Preço ótimo! Um verdadeiro achado! Recomendo bastante!"

Nas casas de banho não vi shampoo ou gel de banho, mas não havia problema pois eu tinha levado, no entanto fica a dica para outros clientes. O isolamento não é muito bom, visto que eu conseguia ouvir a cozinha do restaurante em baixo e passos do andar de cima, mas nada que fosse desagradável.

"Had an amazing stay at Akunamatata and would highly recommend it. The house was clean and spacious and only a few minutes from the Main Street of Grand Case and the beach. The kitchen had everything you needed while away. The outdoor area was relaxing and the bed very comfortable. Although we were sharing the house with other people it was a perfect place to stay. "I had a simply wonderful time here. The host is exceptionally kind and always available for any questions, at any time of day. The room was clean, tidy, and pleasant, a cozy little guest unit that felt very private and welcoming. She’s also an amazing cook, the meals were delicious, thoughtful, and full of love. All around is the magical quiet of an authentic village, with green nature and a calming view. You’ll also be greeted by Chucha, the sweet family dog, who clearly loves guests and adds even more charm to the stay. A warm, peaceful local experience, exactly what I was hoping to find."

"O alojamento era muito bonito e confortável. A cozinha limpa e também bem equipada. A localização era ótima."

Não tinha rede Wi-Fi disponível apesar de dizer que sim. E não tem rede de telemóvel no alojamento. É necessário rever a banheira porque entope. Para quem tem malas volumosas não é de fácil acesso, uma vez que o estacionamento ainda fica a 7/8 minutos a pé.

Everything was fine—any small issues weren’t even worth mentioning.

As all activities and transport are organized by the host, I sometimes had to wait quite long time for the driver to arrive. This was not the hosts fault, but it is important to know when planning a trip to Tanna.

A porta do quarto era a única abertura para o exterior (não tinha janela). Era numa fachada toda envidraçada que dava para um patamar de acesso ao lobby. Por onde os outros clientes passavam, o que retirava privacidade ao quarto e obrigava a ficar com a porta e cortina fechada. Ainda por cima outros clientes fumavam no patamar e não podiamos deixar a porta aberta.

"We had an amazing stay! The hosts Kristina and Kozma and their cute little dog were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The apartment was super clean and had everything we needed. They even shared the tastiest fresh tomatoes from their garden. The balcony had a gorgeous view over the sea, and they were kind enough to give us a ride back to Vlora. Honestly, such lovely people – highly recommend!"

"Good place for a getaway with your wife and children; nevertheless, it's pretty far from the city, so you would need to have a car. There are several villas with lots of rooms."

It's noisy in the morning. It may not be comfortable for the guys who like to sleep for a long time in the high season. Also, our apartment has a separate balcony from the other room, so if your neighbors like to smoke in the morning, you will feel that as well. But if you are an early bird, this pearl is for you.

"Super cozy accommodation, friendly and welcoming host, very close to the beach - we found the perfect escape we were looking for and didn’t want to leave in the morning!"

"Although a 30-40 minute bus ride from Chania town, Summer Lodge is a Fantastic place if you want to be away from the busy places. A peaceful and pretty hotel with a Lovely vibe...There are places nearby to get food and drink and the mostly deserted beach is just a few minutes walk away. The bus stops are close by also - So nothing was ever too much effort. The owners of the property were kind, chatty and helpful. And last but not least the two cats at the hotel were a Joy to be around !! If I get the chance to go back to Chania I would definitely stay at this hotel again !9"

Being near the main road, although handy can be a bit noisy at times but it never bothered me too much. The individual refrigerator in the room was very noisy and I did wake up to it a couple of times.

It's expensive if you just need a place to sleep.

"Cozy little town, quiet and pitoresk. Gasthaus Emmi is located central in the town, but still has a beautiful location with an open field behind. Great garden with swimmingpool, playground for kids, rabbits and hens. Breakfast very good, local products and fresh eggs. Clean rooms."

Not new interior, but original, well taken care of and clean.
