"I booked a 4bed female dorm, on arrival I was presented a small room with two very single beds about 50cm apart from each other, no furniture, no nothing (because there's no space for anything). I changed for a private room with bathroom and that was perfect after a day long bus journey. In fact, the room (the one upstairs on the left corner) had the most comfortable bed I have slept in on all my travels. The location is some 10 minutes walk from the centre and it's not noisy. I don't know about the pool, I didn't see anyone in it and didn't have time for it."

"The staff and location were excellent. They were very accommodating, helpful and always happy to answer questions, assist with arranging things like laundry and transport. We felt very safe, and the property is well maintained and clean. Very convenient for basics, and a short walk to the center and the shopping area. Great food choices nearby, and the included breakfast was a great way to start the day. Thank you again for treating our group and I so well!"

"It's hard to be negative when the staff and owner are so great, but the rooms are very basic, even with my choice to upgrade -- balcony was just a shape outside the door, not a private balcony. The room had two beds and a TV and nightstand, but nowhere to put clothes so I ended up using the second bed to lay out my belongings. Otherwise everything would have been on the floor. A table, armoire, anything to just put a few things on With just a few material upgrades this would be an excellent place to stay, but for the cost I expected some basic furniture. I hope they will resolve this, as the location and staff/owner were great, so I'd love to stay there again -- after a scorpion incident in Nicaragua, I just don't leave my bags on the floor anymore :)"

"The hostel wing I was in was very new and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Delicious , filling breakfast was included. Close to restaraunts and 15 min. walk to centro and lakeside. The swimming pool was a bonus."
