"Os funcionários foram muito simpáticos, estava tudo muito limpo e cheirava bem. O quarto era espaçoso e tinha uma boa vista da janela. O pequeno almoço era muito bom. Tem uma biblioteca muito bonita."

"As tomadas não tinham plug USB e não houve disponibilidade para nos emprestarem um adaptador, apenas vender. É uma zona de estacionamento apenas para residentes, ofereceram uma parceria com um parque que exigia um número de telefone local para ser utilizada o que não faz sentido nenhum para hospedes estrangeiros… O pequeno almoço era bom, os quente eram pedidos à carta mas um pouco desorganizado nos timings e em acertar no pedido e pouca quantidade."

"O hotel fica um pouco afastado do centro, mas nada que uma caminhada de 30 minutos não resolva. Tem transportes muito perto, bem como a estação de comboios de Haymarket. Ficámos no último piso e a vista era soberba, conseguíamos ver o castelo de Edimburgo. O único problema, mas que fomos previamente avisados, era que o elevador estava avariado, mas a ser reparado. Bom pequeno almoço com as opções de continental e escocês. No pequeno almoço escocês foi-nos dada a possibilidade de adicionar e tirar ingredientes."

"I guess more choice at breakfast, particularly being gluten free but the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon and gluten free cornflakes (my favourite) filled me up great My partner said he would have liked the option of a full English / similar 🙊😂 Note to disabled travellers - there are 8 or so steps up to the hotel at the front and the lift is quite small. They may have a ramp for the steps but fortunately I managed without my wheelchair"

"Perfect stay in a beautiful historic building with an amazing view of the castle. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent with a lovely view. Highly recommended!"

"Beautiful building, with a library and lounge/ bar. Very grand stair case. Large breakfast room with a selection of continental and cooked food. The cooked breakfasts were very good. Our room was 4th floor (attic) which wasn't a problem for me (although I couldn't see the lovely view of the castle through the velux windows), but was a little awkward for my 6 foot partner- he couldn't even sit up in bed. Having said that the room was nice, the bathroom a good size, the bed comfortable and was all very clean. Good location."
