"Um pequeno hotel de arquitectura com gosto e inspiração local, longe da confusão frenética e barulhenta de Luxor, bastando 5min de barco para atravessar o Nilo. Uma piscina absolutamente charmosa e um jardim de onde se colhem frutas para o pequeno-almoço, que acaba na margem do Nilo. Um "Garden rooftop" com vista deslumbrante sobre o Nilo e Luxor. O dono, Mahmoud, incondicionalmente disponível para ajudar em tudo, ainda consegue ter tempo para partilhar um chá e falar sobre o que passa no mundo e no Egipto. O staff irrepreensível na simpatia e no serviço. Ir a Luxor e ficar no West banks é ficar no Nile Compound! Recomendo sem restrições."

The food was wholesome and satisfying, and the overall ambiance offered a rare sense of serenity. Cleanliness was impeccable throughout the property. I especially loved the pool, the relaxing poolside lunches, and the delightful dinner and breakfast experiences. The terrace added a special charm, providing a perfect spot to unwind. Last but not least, the staff’s dry humor was a memorable highlight. Given the opportunity, I would gladly return to Egypt and spend a few more days at the Nile Compound again."

Mahmoud and Elsa were always very helpful, as was the entire staff. They helped us organise tours and always had excellent advice."

"Perfect pension on the west bank of Nile. Not far from the center though. Simple breakfasts but in a very nice setting. Beatiful view from the terrace. Nice pool. Quiet neighbourghood."
