"My son and I spent three weeks traveling around Puerto Rico and this was a wonderful addition to our trip. I love Pitahaya's focus on sustanability and eco traveling, the exclusion of single use water bottles (BRAVO) and attention to composting and recycling. This is something rarely seen on the island and greatly needed. The mattress in the tent was very comfortable and I absolutely loved showing under the stars. A great way to camp if you are unable to bring your personal camp gear or are simply looking for a more comfortable camping experience."

The main light in our tent would only last for a few seconds. We weren't aware that it was motion activated and that made it challenging to play board games and read at night.

Carole and Jean-Yves are extremely friendly, make you feel at home straight away, and generously share tips and recommendations for your stay on the island. The facilities are not only functional but also particularly well designed for the guests' comfort."

"Shtiuie and Abu-Shamir are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfest was well served with eggs, pita breads, cheese, and vegatabales. The fireplace kept working and coffee and tea was served continousely. If we had any problems Shtiuie took care of them!"

The location is misleading. The place is actually inside the beduiwen village which is crowded by animals and noise. My friend wasnt able to sleep. as for me it was not a problem.

"Amazing, unbelievable, untouched nature. If you like camping, search no more! Great value for the price, comfy tents and great food. Also, you have free equipment to explore the lake..."

Road to the camp is not in the best conditions.

"Tolles Erlebnis, mega Sonnenaufgang. Tatsächlich bequemer als erwartet. Der Bäcker um Frühstück zu besorgen ist nur 1 Minute entfernt."

Die Ablage am Kopfende war nicht sauber ( tote Fliegen , Sand) , eine der LED Kerzen funktionierte nicht. Wir hatten uns zum Glück eine Lichterkette mitgebracht. Das sollte bei dem Preis doch schon der Fall sein.
