It’s also well-suited for longer-term stays, as it has everything you need to feel at home. One of the highlights was the beautiful view overlooking the fortress, which made mornings and evenings especially enjoyable. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, showing genuine hospitality and making sure everything was perfect. Communication was smooth and helpful from start to finish. "We traveled on our bicycles and Highland lodge was the perfect stop between Afriski and Mokhontlong. Rooms were very large and so clean. Bed was very large and comfy. Staff was nice, friendly and very helpful. I highly recommend 👌🏼"

We would have enjoyed a desert after our dinner but it was not so important.

Everything was great, The only small suggestion would be to offer either thicker blankets or a cozy duvet for extra comfort for those who likes to sleep with the air conditioning but gets super cold easily 😅

"We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

As we were staying in someone's home and not a hotel, the place wasnt absolutely spotless, but it was clean and homey. It might not be to everybody's taste to share a bathroom with a family though.

"For self catering facilities it is peefect, quiet and have laundry and ao forth included which is reàlly nice... the agent is very reasonable and always there to answer any questions or any concerns... I highly recommend 👌"

If bed mats to be place on both side of the bed and infront the dresser ... but others the property is well equipped.

The hosts are wonderful, remarkably kind and hospitable - they made our first experience of Bermuda very special, adding a touch of magic to a much needed break. Watercolours is a beautiful home, very tastefully decorated, with the guest rooms luxurious and well appointed. Much thought and consideration has gone into making sure every need is met, so that it really feels like a home from home. Also helpful advice about where to go and how to get there with bus/ferry tickets available to purchase from the host rather than having the hassle of buying these from the bus station. We were so fortunate to have booked this place - it was outstanding in every way!"

"Modern, clean, self contained with bedrooms having on-suite bathrooms which also provided convenience and privacy. minimalistic though everything you expect from a hotel accommodation/apartment we had , elements from the spa were also included dressing, gowns and slippers, beach towels. The air conditioning throughout the rooms was great keeping us cool when relaxing in such a hot period of the year"
