"The host was very kind. The property was very cleaned. I had to leave super early to the airport, the owner got up so early to prepare food for me to eat on the way to the airport. He was super kind."

It is a bit out of the town but ok if you have a car. If there are many guests you will have to queue to use the shower room and toilet as it is a shared Barth room property.

"Gostei muito do espaço em geral, a sala de estar e o sofá, super aconchegante, voltarei la com certeza! Em termos de custo/benefício,amei. Porém deveriam ter uma geladeira maior, pois os hospedes fazem bastante compras, e a geladeira por ser, pequena, fica uma confusão e sem espaço. Aconselho a ter uma geladaria maior para os hóspedes, e a organização deve ser vigiada, para que um hóspede, não ocupe todo o espaço."

Infelizmente esta fora do alcance do hotel, mas a localização distante realmente é um ponto a se considerar. Demoravamos 1h entre o centro e o local. Fora isso, o chuveiro estava mal preso e nós machucou algumas vezes, por ter caído.

It had everything you need in a guesthouse. However, some reforms need to be made, but the host told me he's working on it

"Quiet location on Varkala's South Cliff with only 5 minute walk to the beach. We booked a room with outdoor patio and really enjoyed sitting out there in the evenings. The room was really spacious and beautifully decorated. Also loved the outdoor shower! The highlight is definitely the swimming pool, which can be enjoyed at all times of the day thanks to the shade from the trees. The landscaping has been so well thought out. It truly felt like a little bit of luxury staying here and we loved it!"

"Lovely breakfast with homemade bread, delicius. Beautiful houses and seaside view. Very friendly staff. The room was simple but comfortable with an extra heater in it."

Thin walls. There were noises from other people in the corridor/bathrooms/doors. The room could use a little decoration for cozier feeling.

Host speaks only French and is rather unheplful, however I might got such impression because of language barrier ;)

"We stayed here in September after walking the Arctic circle trail. We were faster than expected, so we contacted the owner as soon as we arrived in town. He immediatly told us we could stay at the house and came to pick us up in 10min to bring us there. It is a bedroom in his home and he immediately made us feel very welcome. We had space in the fridge, the entire kitchen available and we were allowed to use the washing machine to clean all our stuff. The WiFi was also excellent. The host was very friendly and taught us lots about Greenland, Inuit culture and history and the surrounding area. He also offered to take us on a boat trip to the ghost village (at a much better rate than any other provider). All in all a great place to stay!"

As we were staying in someone's home and not a hotel, the place wasnt absolutely spotless, but it was clean and homey. It might not be to everybody's taste to share a bathroom with a family though.
