"The host is extremely kind, helpful and respectful. I felt genuinely cared about during my stay and each day I was asked very politely if everything was going well and if I needed local information. He is also an excellent cook and made a special meal for everyone to celebrate a long term guest. The location couldn't be any easier from the port if you are travelling by ferry. It's also right next to the promenade and the main shops. Even the bus stops are only a short walk. There is a comfortable sofa to relax, a washing machine and an outdoor line to hangout wet clothes. My room even had a balcony with a view of the sea and across the bay."

"It's a legendary hostel with backpacker testimonials and memories vibrantly decorating the living room walls. Although, it does not have new or modern features such as curtains on the beds or many bathrooms, but it does have useful things such as big lockers, blankets and a kettle. So for the price it's still as cheap as you can find."
